Plan of attack for the week…

Basically this week we are going to start “Tapering” a little bit. Meaning, tuesday, thurs, and sat we are going to back off the training a bit. I am competing on March 6th (friday) at 4:30pm in the Arnold Classic. So, we are right at 2 weeks out. I feel pretty well prepared. Things are starting to feel like they are clicking.

This morning I snatched up to 130kgx2 (286lbs), and clean and jerked up to 150kg (330lbs). I felt pretty darn good and fast. I’ll really be focusing in this week and working on some different technique things. I’ll also have a little more down time to write some follow up blog posts on some wrestling stuff.

ALL YOU LIFTING FANS WHO HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS BLOG… Relax. haha. This isn’t going to turn into a wrestling only blog. I just get excited around state time. I will be probably posting SOMETHING about wrestling about once per week (and about every day this week).

I’ll be doing a nice combination of wrestling/my training/weightlifting/mentality posts… I’ll probably bounce all over the place, but, that is why it’s a blog!!
