Training

I am excited to have this week to get back into shape. Yesterday I snatched 140 and cleaned 170. It wasn’t a ton, but, the clean was super easy. I should be able to do 145/175 on friday which will be a nice step in the right direction again. I have been focusing on the squats this week trying to get my strength back up first. Next week I should be able to get right back to doing 150/180, then 155/185 by the end of the week. Just one step at a time, and, easing into it with my knee. The Vegas weather has been HOT! Dang. I left Iowa and it was like 45 degrees. Haha I get here and it is 90 degrees every day. I like it though.

Anyway, I want to keep pushing it to get back into shape (and beyond) as soon as I possibly can. I have learned now though that staying injury free is the #1 priority. It probably set me back about 2 months altogether and that is unacceptable…On to 160/200 soon I hope.
