I am going to go see a hand specialist this coming Monday. I hope to get an x-ray and see what is going on. It has been over 2 months now so I am a bit worried to be honest. It has been extremely frustrating not being able to snatch or clean&jerk.
Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to it. So, I really am seeing this as a big positive as a time to focus on getting stronger. My squats and my pulls have been going up recently, which is good. That is really the best thing I can take out of this injury, is that my legs and back feel good again. My flexibility has improved as well.
I love it down here in Vegas and training with the crew and Broz. Broz really is a tremendous coach and i’m excited to get healthy and to really be able to get training. I really feel like a caged lion right now Haha. Just wanting to do the lifts SO bad but not being able to. Of course my squats and pulls are still weak so I really shouldn’t complain one bit.
I’ll keep everyone updated on the hand and whatnot. Until then, i’ll either be sleeping or by a squat rack probably. Take care.
