Todays/Yesterdays Training…

Yesterday I went up to 130kg snatch in the morning, and up to a close 160kg clean and jerk. I couldn’t quite clean it though. In the PM I went up to a 135kg snatch, and a….umm,. I honestly don’t remember what I clean and jerked. Wait , 145kg (not maximal, shoulder was sore/tender). Then, back squatted up to a maximal 200kgs (don’t laugh, it was hard the day after a meet and on 3 hours of sleep/at the end of a 2 a day).

Today I power snatched up to 125kg and power cleaned up to 150kg. I attempted 161kg for a PR but it was definitely Clarktown, Clarkville, Clark City, Clarktown USA today. Soon, though.

I can’t say I have ever been more anxious for a competition in my entire life…Collegiate Nationals is on saturday night. There is a live feed to it online, it starts at like 7pm central time. Wow, I wish it was today.
