Base Phase`

My plan for the next month is just to go through a “base” phase. There will basically be zero maxes and mostly just building up my volume. There is no sense in trashing myself in the first month or two when my technique is not efficient and my flexibility is still poor.

The weights are not the issue right now, technique and flexibility are. I need to grow more confident by drilling lighter weights(70-80%), not by missing lifts at above 90%. Once I get over 85% or so I start to revert back to my old technique, which is extremely inefficient, and is just plain ugly. I can’t keep progressing if I am using terrible technique, there is only a certain level you can attain with poor technique.
